Overview

Following their Shark Tank appearance in 2018, Cheers (formerly Thrive+) had a cult following amongst its core customer base, but still lacked the education and optics necessary to become a mainstream favorite.

Before 2019, the concept of “alcohol-related health” didn’t exist. Even after their Shark Tank appearance, a large gap still existed between what social & responsible drinkers used to feel better the next day and what actually works. There was a lack of understanding about the science behind alcohol and its effects, the category was virtually non-existent, the stigma of hangovers created a massive barrier to entry, and brands struggled to encourage customers to prioritize liver health.

Creating a category from scratch requires extensive education, clear brand positioning, and building a brand that emotionally resonates with customers—and that’s exactly what we did.  Our complete rebrand repositioned Cheers with a bold vision: to make alcohol a part of a happy, healthy life. Over six years, Cheers evolved into a category-defining brand.
